Penelope is 6 years old but has the heart and energy of a puppy. She LOVES people of all sizes and an active family would be best to help her release her energy. She is dog friendly, just take a little longer to warm up to male dogs. A dog test will be required to see if everyone gets along. She LOVES her toys and to run around out in the yard. She is also said to be cat friendly, as we always say super slow and patient introductions is best. She loves to ride in the car and go swimming. She does well with getting a bath, being brushed and having her nails trimmed. She is spayed, up tp date on vaccines, and microchipped.Interested in adopting? Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an adoption application. We do our best to review applications within 24 hours. You will be notified when your application has been approved.
Our adoption fees are $85 for cats and $140 for dogs. All of our animals will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX/ Fiv-Felv tested and UTD on all age appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption.

The Humane Society of Warren County is located at 1245 Progress Dr. Front Royal, VA. We are open Thursday-Tuesday from 10:00-4:00 for adoptions. We are closed to the public on Wednesdays for deep cleaning.
