Lucy has had a rough life for being only two years old. She has been used to breed over and over again until she and her two generations of puppies were rescued. She is so loving and affectionate and wants nothing more than to be near you. She has the basset bay-bark if she feels lonely and really feels happiest when she is in the company of her people.
Lucy is a gentle, sensitive girl who is VERY loving and affectionate. She loves kids, and any person she comes into contact with and does very well with other dogs and cats. Her favorite activity is laying on the couch and you can find her there about 80% of the time!
Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico. There is an application which is required for initial approval, with personal references, and vet references. We may require a home visit, each adoption is different. We are easy to work with, friendly and try to fit the right pet in the right situation!
