Nala is just about the sweetest girl you've ever met. She's 6 1/2 and we got her from a shelter 5 years ago. She's incredibly smart, listens very well and is well trained. Her only issue is that she is large (90lb) and very dog and cat aggressive so this can make it pretty difficult to walk her or take her out and about. She's extremely gentle with our 1 1/2 year old and has never once been aggressive to people.
The decision to rehome her has been incredibly difficult but comes down to the fact that we have a growing family now and we just don't have the bandwidth and energy to give her the exercise, mental stimulation, and training that she needs (for her dog aggression). It's near impossible to take her on a walk with our daughter so she doesn't get nearly enough exercise. We've worked with a trainer in the past but haven't been consistent enough though we do have a lifetime training program for her through Bark Busters that can be transferred to a new owner with a small fee.
