Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hutton, cute as a button! Buttons aren't the first thing that comes to mind when we think of something cute, but it rhymes. Button is also super silly. We had a hard time keeping her still to capture all her beauty but trust us, she is a looker. Hutton is always happy. She thinks she is a lap dog at 80lbs small. We don't have the heart to break it to her that she is literally too big for any lap out there. A girl should have dreams. Hutton is ready to snuggle someone full time. Any takers!
Came in as a stray on 9/30/24.
Picked up from the 25th district CPD
Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL
Email visitcacc@cityofchicago.org for more information.
The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.
All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.
Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
