Time spent with cats is never wasted - Sigmund Freud
Malachi, a handsome mini-panther with stunning yellow eyes, has made the short jaunt east to Etobicoke where he is slowly decompressing and adjusting to his new environment. He has left his past behind him and is ready to embark on a brand new journey.
Volunteers describe him as a calm cat, although he is easily startled by any unexpected movement. Malachi prefers to hang out in the comfort of his cubby, coming out when curiosity gets the better of him and he wishes to find out what is going on around him. He has even sniffed a volunteer's hand! Might pets with a wand be on the horizon? Malachi is also starting to demonstrate his playful side, showing interest in chasing any wand that is offered. As he becomes increasingly comfortable, his personality is definitely emerging. One of Malachi's favourite activities is to come out of his kennel and inspect every nook and cranny of his new surroundings. He definitely won't waste time exploring his new home!
As we get to know Malachi, criteria for his future abode will become clearer. Given his calm nature, it is most likely that a quiet home will be the best fit for this handsome boy. Malachi will be open to sharing his space with a compatible feline, however, canine companionship remains unknown.
Are you ready to offer Malachi a home of his very own? He would like you to know that he will provide companionship and make your time together well spent. He is waiting to meet his future family. Don't waste time, come by to find out if this could be you. -------------------- The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175. Take home an adult feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300! For kittens under six months of age, the adoption fee is $200...or, double your cuteness quotient and adopt two wee furballs for $350! If you mix and match (kitten plus cat), the adoption fee is $300. Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. -------------------- Interested in adopting Malachi? It's easy! Just click "Adopt a Cat" on the EHS website (etobicokehumanesociety.com) and fill out our "Cat Adoption Form." An EHS representative will be pleased to help.
