My name is Charlie* HW(-)!

He might not have celebrity status like Sheen, Chaplin, or his own Daniels Band, but in our eyes, this boy is a total all-star! Meet Charlie, a young male Labrador Retriever mix weighing around 65 pounds. Charlie came to the shelter on 10/24/24 as an owner surrender due to being `too active.` He was kept as an indoor dog in his previous home and was housebroken, getting along well with children, cats, and dogs. But being cooped up in the shelter has been tough on him—he’s eager to run, play, and, most importantly, be loved! Recently, Charlie had a Dog`s Day Out with a shelter volunteer, and they reported he was a completely different dog outside the shelter. They walked in the park, explored local stores, and he did great on the leash, soaking in all the sights, sounds, and smells. Like any typical Labrador, Charlie thrives on regular exercise and mental stimulation, and once those needs are met, he’s the perfect snuggle buddy!
