This supports all rescue dogs for vetting, foods and whatever they need.
We are all volunteers.
Britches is about 2.4 years old, 10 lb, fully vetted and microchipped little boy that just entered our rescue from a family in Arkansas because they didn't have time for him. We believe he is a shihtzu/ yorkie making him a shorkie!! HE LOOKS LIKE A MIXED TERRIER. BUT WE ARE UNSURE OF THE BREED, this is rescue.
He is sweet, loyal, cuddly, loving and playful. He loves his squeaky toys , but will break them if not very strong. He loves to run and play outside and will play ball with you. He uses the dog door for potty. He loves to lounge around the house with you and watch TV or watch you do yard work. LB is just a dog who wants to be close by and loved. He likes goinging for car rides. He loves dogs of all sizes and is very social. He loves kids and all people. He is THE MOST PERFECT DOG!!
We will set up private meetings as soon as we find an appropriate match, so DO NOT DELAY, send your application in quickly. He is is presently in Rhode Island.
Littlle Britches perfect home would be:
FENCED YARD, preferred
CHILDREN TO PLAY BALL
ANOTHER DOG TO PLAY WITH
FAMILY MEMBER HOME DURING DAY

OUR PROCEDURE: We will choose the dog's possible family as soon as we see a match. We will phone you and further discuss . The dog will be in Rhode Island for a meet and greet. Please realize, it is our goal to get the dogs into the right homes as soon as possible and no shows are not good for the dogs and other serious dog families.
If you can provide a FABULOUS home please file our free application (see link above) and tell us why we should let you adopt our wonderful rescue. The more you tell us the better picture we have of the home you can provide for our rescue
Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do save applications, but you may put multiple names on one application. If you have already applied in the past, then please send us a message with your name and what dog you are now interested in being considered for and we will pull off the server. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted. If you don't see any information you need to know, we probably don't have an answer....like cats...idk...
