My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hello, My Name is Mariah, I am a 9-year-old female, Morkie weighing 12.5 lbs. I came into rescue due to my owner passing away. I should be groomed every 6 to 8 weeks. I am a healthy girl and even had my dental cleaning, so my teeth are beautiful again I am looking for a family who will take me on car rides and walks. I am house trained and crate trained (but would rather hang out on the couch or in a dog bed). I do love cats, but when they run, I have to investigate and run after them. I don’t hurt them, I'm just curious. I do like other dogs my size, I haven’t been one to play here at my foster home, but I love to watch what everyone else is doing. I like to be by my foster mom's side when she is cooking or sitting on her chair. When she isn’t around, I lay between my foster dad's legs on his recliner. I sometimes whine when in the crate to get your attention. I only want to be with you. I love sleeping in the bed but will need stairs to get up and down. I walk on a leash and do love car rides. I like kids, but I try to stay out of the way of them playing. With me being 9, I love long naps and someone who would let me cuddle with them whenever I want. To adopt Mariah, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, spay, dental, and all the love you can handle! Go meet their pets

Peace Love and Poms Rescue is not a shelter environment. All our dogs are placed in loving foster homes where they are treated like family until a forever home is found. This means all approved applicants will need to make an appointment with the foster pawrents to meet their potential new pet.
