My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello everyone!! First of all, thank you for taking the time to read about me. My name is Echo and I'm a 1 year old spayed female pitbull mix. Everyone tells me I'm so pretty with my all white coat, (incase your wondering I am not deaf and can hear very well with my big ears). Let me introduce this by saying I love life! I love all it has to offer. Whether it's time for an adventure or time for a cuddle I am here for it! My amazing rescue pulled me out of an LA shelter where I was used as a playgroup helper with the other dogs. Now that I have been rescued I am looking for my forever home. My foster mom lives in Tahoe with two big male dogs who have become my friends. So far we have gone on many hikes and even some trail runs. I've been told I would make an excellent adventure buddy! To pair nicely with that I love cuddles. In fact I know how to give hugs and am very affectionate. I also am very easy going in the car, I'll just sleep till we get to our destination. I also sleep really well overnight in my cozy kennel and am learning through positive enforcement that it is a safe place. I'm only a year and still have some puppy joy which means I love all kinds of toys, especially engagement ones. Foster mom has been guiding me through basic obedience training which I'm doing very good at. I have my sit, stay, down, have started to work on place and heel, and am doing great on the leash. I get excited when I see other dogs so I appreciate slow intros but before you know it I will be inviting them to play or snuggling up with them. Oh, I also had a routine vet checkup the other day and I made friends with all the staff. They told me they adored me and the vet said I was one of the fittest dogs he's seen, go me! I am spayed and up to date with all vaccines as well as a clean bill of health. My foster mom says she will be sad to see me go but I know that's how they can keep saving more dogs. If you think you might have a home for me full of love, adventure and fun please inquire. I would love to meet you!
