Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Abbey was a stray who hopped right into the vehicle of a kind couple who stopped to feed her! She is extremely sweet and gentle! She loves to play and already knows several basic commands! Abbey is very loving and wants a person of her own! She came into rescue with limp. Upon further investigation, it appears that she suffered a trauma. Most likely she was hit by a car. X rays have shown that nothing can be fixed surgically but she will need long term medications and possibly injections to manage. Her paw and pelvis have been affected. But this does not stop this sweet girl from getting around! She will just need a family who can give her the care that she will need.

We do not have a shelter. Our pets are being cared for in foster homes. We allow prospective adopters to meet the pet by appointment after we have approved the home to adopt and feel that we have a good match.
