Why I need a new home

Fostered

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Birdie is an amazing dog who deserves a loving, stable home. She is very low-key, sweet, affectionate, cuddly, and happy! She loves to be around all people and gets along with dogs and cats. She loves going on walks but is equally happy snuggling on the couch. She walks well on a leash. Birdie does amazing at the vet, even getting her vaccines and bloodwork drawn.

Unfortunately, Birdie has a sad story for how she made her way up north. She was born in Alabama, and we don't know much about her first few years besides that she did live with a family. She was given up by her original family to the Humane Society in Alabama early this year and adopted into a new, loving home. Unfortunately, her second family experienced housing instability, so she again lost her home and has since been in different foster homes. She has endured a lot of change as well as the 15 hour drive from Alabama to Connecticut.

She's currently in a foster home in New Haven and would love to meet you!
