My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Lexis. I've got a few years under my collar, but don't let that fool you. I'm as sweet as they come, always ready with a friendly wag. My laid-back nature makes me the perfect companion for those quiet, mellow days. I'm quite independent, but I still appreciate a good scratch behind the ears. I'm not one for drama or high-energy antics, I prefer the simple pleasures. Like a soft bed and a gentle hand. I believe every day is a gift, and I'm just looking for someone to share those gifts with.

Lexis has been added to the urgent list due to her selectivity with other dogs. She prefers more lower to medium energy dogs and those that will respect her space. She is also displaying signs of arthritis due to age and would benefit from getting out of the shelter and into a home so she can live out the rest of her days in peace.
