Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hooligan was being sold on the streets of DTLA a couple of months ago. A really awful human was selling puppies that were unvetted and underage. She was arrested and the puppies were taken to the city shelter where they reached out for help with fostering them while the legal process unfolded. Thankfully the puppies were not sent back to this person and they officially came into our rescue so we could find them true forever homes. Hooligan is the last of the 5.

He’s well socialized with other dogs. We feel he would be best in a home with another dog to help him settle and not be lonely when you are not home.

The application is the first step to see if you are potentially the right match for the animal of interest.This is not a guarantee/commitment of adoption. Our adoption process involves a home check, adoption contract & adoption fee of $400-600 for dogs depending on breed/age and $125 for cats. Adoption fees are non-refundable. Fees include spay/neuter, vaccines, de-wormer & microchip.

LA Animal Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 animal rescue.

Established in late 2010, LAAR has helped save thousands of lives.

We currently care for over 200 domestic and farm animals between our rescue ranch and foster network. Each year hundreds of homeless and abandoned animals receive health care and are re-homed through LAAR. We are a small grassroots no-kill animal rescue that runs solely on donations and volunteers.
