Stella is an 7-year-old Hound with a sweet, cuddly nature who loves to snuggle once she feels secure. She enjoys short walks, backyard adventures, and is a graceful walker and jumper. Stella can be reactive to fast-moving animals like cats and squirrels and may bark at strangers, but she quickly adjusts with patience and routine. She thrives in a calm environment with adults or older kids who understand her need for a stable, predictable routine. Motivated by food and affection, Stella is looking for a forever home where she can continue to grow and be loved.

Adoption questionnaires can be submitted online directly from an animal's profile on ycspca.com or as a general adoption application from www.ycspca.org/adopt/ A staff member will contact you to review your adoption questionnaire, then a meet (adoption appointment) can be scheduled between the pet and the potential adopter. If you cannot complete the form online, please call 717-764-6109 or visit the shelter during our public browsing hours to complete a questionnaire. We are open for public browsing hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
We are open for scheduled adoption appointments every day of the week from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Other hours are available by request.
