I am Louise and I was found outside, so I was pretty shy - but now I am really coming out of my shell! I realized that people petting me is a good thing and I now let my foster mom hold me sometimes! I am so adorable and absolutely worth getting to know! Once I know you are my person, I love to be near you and I would love it if you would play with all kinds of chase toys with me! Crunchy kitty treats are also my jam! I love my siblings and will do best if adopted with one of them - we will keep you entertained with our playful antics! Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
