My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, we are a 4-pack of itty-bitty Chihuahua/Dachshund mix puppies, now 11 weeks old and weighing 2-4 lbs. We were left in a crate on the doorstep of a popular Veterinary clinic in San Antonio Texas just before opening up in the morning, so they called 4 Little Paws Rescue to pick us up. Off we went to a foster home so we could be well taken care of, have some fun, get our puppy shots, and now adorable pictures to help us find forever homes!

I’m Theo, I'm a boy, I weigh 3.9 lbs, and I’m a little angel with loving eyes and great big ears. All of us are happy and playful, love romping and wrestling, chasing each other, and making silly games out of everything we find! Even finding a string on the floor can start a whole fun new game with one of us running with it and the rest chasing. Puppies are silly! Our futures look bright and we are all looking forward to East Coast living! Inquire about us today but I hope you choose me!

* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Additional adoption info

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
