My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact the Cat Team (catapplications@graspinc.org) for more information about this pet.

DOB:  10/01/22

Trudy is a real sweetheart. She was found outside and has a deformed 'cauliflower' ear, most likely due to frostbite. She is also missing a back foot. The vet thinks it could be from the umbilical cord being wrapped around her foot.

Still, she is the sweetest cat. She does have a limp, but that doesn't stop her from exploring everything in her foster's house. She does have a tendency to get underfoot and could be a trip hazard. She will also plop down in front of you to roll around.

Trudy loves toys and food. She doesn't mind being picked up, but is still not ready to be a lap cat, although she will sit next to you for short periods of time.

This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.

More about this rescue

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
