Hey, what's up? My name is Thunder and I am a two-year-old tabby female! My three babies and I were strays in Owego when a kind person found us and brought us into Stray Haven. There was another momma who had about nine kittens so I had helped her out with raising some of her babies!
Now that my babies and I are available for adoption the staff is working to find us a forever home! I am a really sweet kitty with lots of personality. I am always keeping a watchful eye on everything that’s going on since I am an inquisitive little lady. I am a social butterfly who gets along great with other kitties; I would also be great in a home with younger children who could cuddle and play with me all the time! If you’re interested in becoming Thunder Buddies with me please feel free to drop into Stray Haven and hang out!

Additional adoption info

Stray Haven requires an in-person visit with our adoptable pets and completion of the adoption application. Our standard adoption donation is $225 for adult dogs, $275 for puppies, and $100 for cats, and $120 for kittens. All adoption packages and specials include up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchipping.

Stray Haven Humane Society & SPCA is a small private non-profit humane society dedicated to ensuring the protection of animals through education and service. Since 1967, Stray Haven has served Tioga County, NY and neighboring communities, providing shelter and care for homeless animals. Today we continue to offer many services with the generous support of the public, including pet adoptions, spay/neuter programs, dog obedience classes, pet therapy, cruelty investigations, humane education, children’s outreach programs and rewarding volunteer opportunities.
