My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mimi, a spayed female kitten with a big personality and an even bigger heart—she just needs some time to show it! Mimi longs for companionship but only on her own terms. She’s sweet, silly, and loves to play with people, but she isn’t a fan of being touched or pet right away. Despite her independent streak, she doesn’t like to be alone and will often search for you, even when she’s keeping her distance.

Mimi is looking for a very special home—one without small kids, where she can blossom at her own pace. She needs a patient, understanding person who’s willing to give her the space she needs and not take it personally if she keeps her distance for the first few weeks. Once she feels safe, she’ll warm up and be the quirky, playful kitten she truly is! Mimi also gets along well with other cats, so if you already have a feline friend, she’ll fit right in.

If you’re ready to earn the trust of a sweet, unique kitten, Mimi might be the perfect match for you!

Mimi is currently in a foster home. Please contact the City of Gillette Animal Shelter to meet her.
