Meet the Marvelous Murphy! He is already neutered and READY TO GO HOME!!
Murphy is a goofy love bug who wants to impress his human friends. He is a confident boy and smart as a whip - he loves to show off his shake, sit, or down. Murphy is a tall boy who absolutely loves to give hugs! How can you resist this little stinker????
On a recent outing with a volunteer, Murphy was such a good boy! He was perfect on the car ride and walks really well on a leash. Being outside of the kennel completely transformed him- He was calm, ready for adventure, and the ideal hiking buddy. The outing concluded with lap snuggles before making the journey back to the Animal Center.
Murphy came to play group here at the Center and just enjoyed everyone!!!!!! He turned on the speed, zoomed around, and played ever-so-happily in a mixed gender group of six dogs. He was delightful and friendly with all. If you have a dog at home who is looking for a playmate, Murphy has the energy of a puppy. The resident dog and Murphy should meet outside the house-they should be gated inside separately initially, and NEVER feed dogs in the same room.
If you're interested in learning more about him, please reach out to our volunteer matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Murphy 248132".
He is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and is already neutered. If you have dogs or cats in the home, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times. Primary Color: Black Weight: 54 Age: 2yrs 1mths 3wks
