Dill Pickle was brought in by his previous owner on September 18, 2024.

Dill Pickle is a sensitive guy who had a rough start when he first entered our care, showing significant discomfort with handling and attention. He's looking for an adopter who can take things slow and let him initiate interaction when he's ready. Dill Pickle has also been known to play with his claws out, so having a wand and interactive toys on hand will help keep him engaged in a safe way. Due to Dill Pickle's fear and rough play style, he is looking for a home without children, where everyone can read his body language. If you've got a quiet home, please come in and ask about adopting today!

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized.
