Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
A bit about me: My name is June bug, but my foster dad calls me wiggle butt (whatever that means). I am a little over a year old and currently crashing with a couple of big old lady danes and a hyper border collie girl who is constantly touching my stuff. I don't mind sharing my things, but she knows no boundaries and slobbers on my things. They have floof ball pets they call cats, but they don't interest me. I love long walks on a leash, and I am well behaved unless I get overly stimulated or bored and then I might chew on things to relax my nerves. I love my toys, blankets, couches, rubs, loves, and my elevated queen size dog bed that I can bring with me. I've made lots of friends here on the farm and love meeting the animals here.
I'm looking for a place of my own with or without other animals. I'm crate trained, house trained, sweet and loveable. I'm not aggressive at all but still have puppy energy so I'd prefer a home with no small children. I know several human words and what is expected when I hear sit, stay, down, and kennel up. I admit my rear end does wiggle a good bit when I see my harness and leash. I walk well on my leash and love to ride in a car. I also love exploring the outdoor sights and smells. Currently, I need a kennel when you are not home to watch me. I don't mind napping in my kennel when you are away. If you love danes and want a new roommate, I'm your girl.
XOXO June bug

More about this rescue
To rescue Great Danes from neglect, abuse, and abandonment while providing medical care and individual rehabilitation through our experienced and loving foster home program until we are able to provide each rescued Dane with a qualified, caring, and permanent home that will ensure a good quality of life they deserve.
To assist owners that cannot afford spaying, neutering or heartworm treatment as funds allow while also educating owners on affordable, local spay/neuter clinics, spay/neuter benefits, vaccinations, backyard breeding, behavior, nutrition, and obedience. Additionally, we want to be a link point to other rescues and clubs. Raising awareness around rescues and the Great Dane breed is of great importance to us.
We have been rescuing Great Danes since 2011 and we take pride in the collective love, concern, and dedication we have given to the misunderstood and forgotten Danes. It is our mission to continue to be the voices of the less fortunate Danes and to provide them safety and their birthright to a quality of life filled with love and dignity. You can help us achieve our mission by donating funds, items from our wishlist, items of relevance, your time through volunteering, or by lending your home as a foster.
