My name is Louie!

Louie was found abandoned in the woods near my home. He was terrified, starving, and severely mistreated. I’ve had him for about 2 months now. His cuts have healed, his hair has grown, and he’s gained a lot of weight. He’ll be going to the vet for a check up and to get his shots/neutered very soon. He’s not microchipped; he’s somewhere between 8 months and 1 year old, about 35 lbs., and is either partially or totally deaf. He is petrified of men and any fast movement. Despite his heartbreaking past, he is a loving, gentle, playful dog that wants to please and trust his humans. Louie needs a family that will work patiently and gently with him. An owner experienced with special needs dogs is needed. Louie deserves to live his best life with all of the safety, kindness, and love he’s been denied until now.
