Meet Molasses!
Name: Molasses
Age: Born May 3, 2024
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Color: Tortoiseshell
Molasses is a sweet and friendly kitten looking for her forever home! With her unique tortoiseshell coat and a gentle personality, she’s sure to steal your heart.
Personality:
Molasses is friendly and gets along well with other cats. She loves to play and snuggle, making her an ideal companion for feline friends. While she’s great with kids, she prefers a calm environment and isn’t a fan of being chased by energetic toddlers. She’s also still adjusting to her foster's lively dog, so a home without dogs might be best for her.
Health:
When Molasses was rescued as a kitten she had a severe eye infection. She was treated by both a local vet and an ophthalmologist and she now has a permanent gray haze over her right eye due to that past severe eye infection. She has a condition called Symblepharon, where conjunctival membranes partially cover the cornea (from having healed the ulcer that was caused by the infection), which affects her vision slightly. Fortunately, this sweet girl isn’t in pain and doesn’t require any additional treatment! She may have some occasional tearing, but it doesn’t hinder her playful spirit!
Ideal Home:
Molasses would thrive in a quiet home with other gentle cats and older kids who understand her need for space. If you’re looking for a loving companion who’s been through a lot and still has so much love to give, Molasses is the one for you!
If you're interested in adopting Molasses, please reach out! She can’t wait to find her forever family!
She is spayed, tested negative for FIV/ FeLV, microchipped, dewormed, treated with Revolution, and am up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines.
