My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate Date of Birth:6/18/2024

Description:

Gala is a sweet 4-month-old kitten with a gentle soul. At first, she may be a little shy, but once she trusts you, her loving nature shines through. This playful little lady adores her siblings and would thrive in a new home with a furry friend—she definitely needs a kitty companion to help her feel comfortable and secure. She would love to go home with a brother or sister if you don’t already have a cat friendly kitty at home. Gala is a cautious but curious explorer. She loves engaging in playtime with wand toys and her siblings, showcasing her playful spirit. Once she lets her guard down, she’ll melt right into your lap, soaking up all the love and attention. She especially enjoys gentle scratches on her back and neck, making her the perfect cuddle buddy. If you're looking for a sweet and affectionate companion who will blossom with a little patience and love, Gala is ready to bring warmth and joy to your home!

Additional adoption info

Go meet their pets

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
