My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Orion, handsome as the star, is available for adoption! This terrier mix is growing like a weed and will be a medium to large drop-dead gorgeous best friend.

He was born late July, rescued from a high kill shelter with his siblings. He is an awesome pup, loves other dogs and plays so wonderfully with them. He would love to have a dog friend in his forever home.

Orion loves people, too! Super snuggle bunny.

We have not seen him with a cat but he can likely learn to love them at this young age.

He will be neutered between 8-12 months of age, covered by Saving Great Animals. His adopt fee is $525.

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

Submit Application

Please submit an application via our website for the dog you are interested in.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once we receive your application we will arrange a meet and greet for you with the dog in their foster home.

3.
Take the Pet Home

After the meet and greet, if all goes well, we offer a two week trial adoption to ensure the dog is indeed a good match for you.

Additional adoption info

All applicants have a two-week trial adoption period. If the trial adoption is successful, a final adoption contract is signed.

Saving Great Animals is a match-making rescue. All of our dogs are in foster homes and we work with you to help you find your best match. All of our dogs are vaccinated, chipped and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. All applicants have the opportunity to do a two-week trial adoption to ensure the dog is the right match for you. We are passionate about our work and transparent with you so that you find the dog that will be the love of your life.
