My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Joy!

I'm a happy hound dog who was found starving with my friends Love, Peace, and Patience. Despite my rough start, I'm always full of energy and love everyone I meet!

I have an incredibly cheerful personality. My bubbly nature is infectious, and I bring a sense of joy and positivity wherever I go. I've already learned to sit, and we're working on crate training and leash training. With a bit of patience and consistency, I'll surely get the hang of it. My sweet and loving nature makes me easy to work with, and I'm always ready for a cuddle or a play session.

I'm a sweet and cheerful dog who will bring lots of happiness to my new family. I'm an absolute sweetheart who will fill your home with love and laughter. If you're looking for a loving and joyful companion, I'm the perfect choice!

More about this rescue

Welcome to Wild Woods Rescue, a grassroots organization. Our mission is to provide loving homes for dogs of all sizes and breeds. We believe every dog deserves a happy life and work tirelessly to make that happen. We travel to Vermont five times a year, re-homing dogs along the way to reach a wider network of adopters. Our dogs are housed in spacious outdoor kennels, giving them room to play and relax. We screen all adopters to ensure safe, loving placements. Join us to adopt, volunteer, or support our cause. Be part of the Wild Woods Rescue family.
