We adopted Richard as a kitten. He is now 3 years old and is the most loveable cat. He is definitely a lap cat; he loves to be petted and snuggle right up next to you. His favorite pasttime is to take a nap in the sun. His other is to nudge your hand with his nose to let you know he's there and then flop repeatedly next to you until you pet him and he snuggles in. He is on the shy side and tends to be very quiet. He is currently in a home with a large dog, another cat, and many teenagers. We ultimately found that Richard needs a quieter home with not as many people. The vet said that he gets 'stressed' easily which caused him to panic pee due to the noise and activity. Because of that we changed Richard's diet to both a dry and a wet urinary food and felt it would be better for him to have a quieter home in order for him to thrive even more. He would love to find a home that is quiet and where he can be the center of attention. He is very low maintenance; simply wants love.
