From the foster: Penny (#735) is a cheerful dog with a wagging tail that never seems to stop. She's greeted us each morning with boundless affection. Her gentle nature has won over everyone she's met. With a collection of soft toys and bright balls Penny has entertained herself for a long time, tossing her favorites in the air and chasing after them with pure puppy delight.

Her mellow nature and playful antics has made her this foster's favorite. But her sweet kisses and love of cuddles won us over. She's almost totally toilet trained. She's very smart, learns quickly, and sleeps soundly through the night. She loves being close to us and following us around. Going outside something she really enjoys. What more could a person ask for in a puppy?

She's looking for a forever home with a family that will adore her as much as she will adore them.

More about this rescue

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
