My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Coco, a 1-2-year-old male Terrier mix weighing 45-50 pounds. Coco is a bundle of love and affection who adores being pampered and is always ready to return the favor. He's dog-friendly, loves water and playtime, and is fantastic with both kids and adults. His affectionate nature makes him a perfect fit for any loving home. He’s also a great walker on the leash and loves belly rubs. Coco is sure to bring joy and companionship to any family lucky enough to have him!

Coming to NJ from KY in a few weeks, Coco is ready to start his new life.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
