Foster or Forever Home Wanted!!!!! Meet Captain the Puppy!!!!
Paw Update. Captain the Puppy has completed his crate rest after his broken leg surgery and is ready to go to a Foster or better yet a Forever home and start getting some exercise. Captain is an active 7 month old lab mix that will likely grow to be about 60-70 pounds. Captain gets along with people and dogs alike and just wants to be everyone’s friend. Captain is looking for a family that is committed to training and socialization to help him become the best dog possible. If Captain sounds like the right dog for your family email dogs@labradorsandfriends.org or fill out our online application at www.labradorsandfriends.org Captain the Puppy is located in Southern California.
In the Beginning….Captain the Puppy needs Our Help!! Many saw the Angels for Animals Network video of a very scared, young, 5-month-old black lab who was given 2 days to exit the Orange Co Shelter in CA, or they were going to euthanize him. Why? He had been hit by a car, had a HORRIBLE break, and he was in tremendous pain. Thankfully, our vet said we have a spot; bring him...and so we did! Captain had his surgery (10/14/24) and is already in better spirits!
