My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: Winifred is an estimated 9-week-old (est DOB 7/16/24) female red Doberman with natural ears who was brought to the shelter with her Hocus Pocus sisters; a massively over capacity shelter is no place for these pups and we are bringing them to DGS. We will share more about them as we get to know them in foster care.

Foster Update: where are our Doberman lovers at? Winifred is all that in a bag of chips! This spunky and energetic girl also has a wonderful off switch, and will often put herself down for an nap during the day. She plays well with the other large dogs in the home, and the cat is her Best wrestlemania opponent. She can keep up with the big dogs, but loves a good cuddle, too. Winnie is smart, food, motivated, and very eager to please. She will do wonderfully in an active home with large dog experience. Due to her size potential and common breed restrictions, we are not considering apartment homes for her at this time. Her ideal home would be a single-family unit with the securely fence yard, and a desire to train so she can be a wonderful breed and rescue ambassador.Winnie would love to live with other dogs, but it is not a requirement for adoption.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current core vaccinations per AVMA standards, negative heartworm test and microchip with lifetime registration. Adoption fees benefit all the animals in our rescue, and may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Animal History: This dog was rescued from the the high kill San Bernardino city shelter and transported via START, arriving to Seattle area foster care 9/20/24. This dog will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.
