My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cadence is crate trained, house trained and great with other dogs. She was a very shy puppy and let others including but mostly her brothers bully her. She prefers to be with people and excels in training, meeting new people and exploring new places.

'Caddie' has been growing like a weed and now the same height has most of her foster dog friends. Her shepherd bark and observation skills, matched to the lab grace and lovely coat - she is both a pretty dog and nice temperament.

Favorite Toy: Frienhund's colorful Nylon Bone
Favorite Color: Hot Pink
Favorite Food: Cheese Slices

Cadence is cream colored with a wavy medium coat length. Now weighting over 55 lbs; tall and long legs - will be a large adult dog. This litter was a “surprise” when a family brought a dog home unknowingly pregnant. Rescue has accepted 4 of the pups and completed medical, vaccines and spay/neuter. The pups have been with a family and kids since birth. Born June 11, 2024 - each weighing about 35 lbs at 4 months old. DNA tests completed by the family said Swiss Shepherd, German Shepherd & Lab.

READY for Adoption: Vaccinated, on prevention, microchipped and neutered.

FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes fee by van transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners.

More about this rescue

Mission Statement: Volunteers Fueled by Caffeine and Compassion to help Care for Dogs in Today's Pet Crisis in Texas.

Our dogs come from at-risk shelters in TEXAS -focused on Fort Bend Co/Brazoria Co/Galveston Co/Harris Co., partnerships to help dogs in rural areas in South Texas and urgent Owner Surrenders due to loss or tragedy.

We are a small rescue and every things counts - every penny and each donation is a blessing. Most of the dogs require neuter, heartworm treatment and medications for various illness/injury before being cleared for adoption. Our dogs receive quality care in food, toys and hygiene while they recover and wait for forever homes.
