Meet Casper the Friendly Dog! Yep, he's just as charming as his ghostly cartoon counterpart-minus the spook factor. Casper's got that cool Husky style with one blue eye and one brown eye, making him look like he's winking at you 24/7. He's a total social butterfly, gets along with all his doggie friends, and has a talent for making everyone fall in love with him in five seconds flat.

Casper's got two main hobbies: adventuring around the yard like he's on a top-secret mission and chilling like he's been a pro napper his whole life. He's looking for a forever home to haunt (in the friendliest way, of course) and promises to be your loyal sidekick, keeping your spirits high and your heart full. More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
