Aldo, an adorable 1.5 year old who’s 12lbs of charm, is ready to be scooped by his own person!
His exact breed is unknown, but he looks like a mix of Maltese and a Poodle. He is affectionate, friendly, and easy to train.
He was abandoned on the street and a Good Samaritan brought him to the shelter. We don’t know why he was left behind, but that’s in his past and his caretakers and volunteers have erased all Aldo’s negative memories. He is is very playful and loving dog.
He loves being the center of attention and going for walks where he can discover the world. He is good with other dogs and he can be little dominant with male dogs. Despite his small size, he has a big personality!
Aldo’s easygoing and affectionate temperament make him an ideal companion for all types of households. He loves social interaction and strongly attaches himself to human companions.
He has a moderate energy level so regular walks, playtime, and mental stimulation are important for his well-being.
Aldo is crate trained, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.
He has a chance to come to New York and he is available for direct adoption or foster to adopt.
