My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Malang was rescued from a kill shelter in Korea and is ready to find her forever home. Initially shy, she quickly warms up to people, especially when treats are involved! She's comfortable being carried by strangers and has a gentle demeanor.

Malang is best suited to be the only dog in the household. While she can play with very calm dogs, she often growls to let them know when she needs space. With a moderate energy level, she enjoys walks and is calm indoors. On walks, she can pull a bit due to her excitement to explore and sniff everything around her.

She does not guard her food or toys from people but may growl if other dogs are nearby. Malang is not a barker, making her a quiet companion. She travels well in a crate during car rides and, once she feels at ease, she shows her affectionate and loving side.

If you're looking for a sweet, loving companion, Malang might just be the perfect match for you!

More about this rescue

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
