Cairo is a 1-year-old male mixed breed dog. He has long legs and an inquisitive personality. He is a very social dog like he knows he is the most handsome dog and everyone wants to spend time with him. He weighs just over 40 lbs and at a year old he is probably fully grown. His fosters adore him and think everyone who meets him will too. He is crate trained and leash training now so will be leash trained when he is adopted. His foster does a great job at spending time walking the dogs and making sure that they are responsive on the leash. With his long legs, he will want to go walking or hiking or running with you. Cairo lives with small and large dogs and gets along with all of them. Cairo will come to you neutered and fully vetted.

More about this rescue
Our mission is to find dogs their forever families. This usually begins by taking in shelter dogs who have run out of time or dogs surrendered by their owners. After they come in to our rescue, our top priority is to get them as healthy as they can possibly be. Occasionally, we get dogs that end up in our hospice care program. For them, we find them a loving family to live out their final days with. For the others who are healthy, our goal is the same, to find them their perfect forever homes. This may include training and rehabilitation in the process. We offer follow up training to adopters and do everything we can to make a perfect match for both people and canine.
