Hi, I'm Rocky and just like my namesake, I'm a real fighter!! One of my brothers died :( and I was very sick, but I fought so hard to be here. And now I am a healthy, happy, spunky bundle of puppy love! While I love to play with my doggie brothers, I also am independent and will play by myself or chew on a puppy toy to keep busy. I'm still very little so just learning about going potty outside but foster mom says I'm a quick study! I also go in my crate like a champ for naps and sleep all night long like a big boy. I'm learning leash walking which right now which I find a little annoying (because why can't I just run wild and play!?!?) but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I'm fostered in St. Augustine, FL living the good life until I find the perfect forever family who will make sure all of my days ahead are filled with fun, adventure, belly rubs, and snackies!
Please note: If there is no one home during the day, a puppy is not a good choice. Adopters should read about the "breed/mix" to be sure they are ready to add one of these little cuties to their home. They require plenty of exercise and training to become the amazing family dogs they can be.

We require potential adopters to fill out an Adoption Application.When that is approved we can arrange for the prospective adopter to meet the dog they are interested in. We do require an adoption contract to be signed at time of adoption. We have a virtual home-check process (don't forget to submit photos of the exterior of your home!) Adoption fees range depending on the age of the dog. We do have dogs located at qualified fosters throughout the state and also out of state.

Since all rescue dogs live in foster homes, there is no single facility to meet pups.

We are a small, foster-based rescue organization located in Southwest Florida. Being small helps us give more one-on-one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. Herding dogs are unique. They are highly intelligent and require much of the owner’s attention. The dogs are evaluated, when they come into the rescue, for any temperament and health issues. Then they are given basic obedience, socialization and rehabilitation as it is necessary.
It is our sole purpose to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs that have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative.
