My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Mount Wolf, PA.
Meet Queso, the most adorable little bundle of joy you'll ever encounter! At just 5 months old and weighing in at around 20 lbs, this curious cattle dog mix is on a quest to explore the world—one wag at a time! With a medium energy level, Queso knows how to balance playtime with cozy nap sessions, often curling up for a snooze even when the fun is still going strong.

Food? Oh, you better believe he’s all about those tasty treats! He gets along splendidly with both his older canine housemate and a playful pup his age. And if you’ve got kids, Queso is your little lovebug, always eager for cuddles and affection.

When nighttime rolls around or his humans need to work, Queso settles into his crate or playpen, dreaming of all the adventures he’ll have. While he hasn't quite mastered leash training yet, he’s making great strides with his potty training—just a heads-up that he might need a little time to adjust in his new home.

As a typical puppy, he finds shoes and anything within reach to be his personal chew toys, but don’t worry—he’s a champ at redirection and thrives on positive reinforcement!

Queso is currently being fostered in Mount Wolf, PA, and he can’t wait to find his forever home! If you're ready to add some fun and love to your life, reach out to his foster mom at zacharysmomheidi@live.com. Get ready for a lifetime of tail wags and puppy kisses!

Quest is neutered and up to date on preventatives.

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer group that rescues Australian Cattle Dogs. Our dogs reside in foster homes until they are adopted
Every year, thousands of Australian Cattle Dogs find themselves homeless through no fault of their own. Although the reasons are diverse, the result is the same. Healthy, adoptable dogs face euthanasia in shelters.

The Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association rescues ACDs in shelters from Maine to Georgia and gives these dogs a fresh start with a loving family. Our foster home volunteers welcome the dogs into their homes where they live as members of the family. During the time in foster care, our volunteers determine what kind of forever home will be the right one for each dog.
