Roscoe is a senior, male, Dachshund mix brought to the rescue after owner asked somebody if they could watch him and then never returned for Roscoe. Although Roscoe is a senior he is still quite active enjoying walks and playing with his toys in the fenced yard. During the 3 months while waiting for his owner to return the people caring for him said he was free to roam in the home with children and other pets without any issues. He is very friendly and does appear house trained. At a recent trip to the Vets office it was discovered that Roscoe has a heart mumur. Even though at the rescue he has not displayed any symptoms it is important to be aware and take into consideration before adoption. Submit Application

All pets adopted from Tri-County Animal Rescue Center will have received a vet wellness examination, de-wormer, and vaccinations.

2.
Approve Application

If adopting a cat/kitten you must agree to not have it declawed. If living in a rental property, we must get permission from the landlord.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our dog adoption fee is $125 and we require either a spay/neuter deposit of $50 or a certificate for spay/neuter at our vet may be purchased for $100 (unless already spayed/neutered which would change the adoption fee) if the option of the $50 deposit is chosen, it will be returned after proof of the surgery.
Our cat adoption fee is $75 for kittens and $35 for adult cats. The cat adoption fee includes spay or neuter costs. All cats and dogs receive a wellness check and are current on all vaccinations appropriate for their age.

The adoption process includes filling out an adoption application and providing references. Any current pets in the household must be spayed or neutered (unless not recommended by a veterinarian for health reasons) and current on vaccinations. If adopting a cat/kitten you must agree to not have it declawed.
If living in a rental property, we must obtain permission from the landlord before an adoption can be approved. The dog or cat will be placed with the potential adopter that best matches the needs of the animal.
