the sweetest mama---

Kiara was the best mom to 3 kittens, all of whom have since been adopted. She had to be removed from our site when she became ill and fought off a lung infection—the cause of which was never discovered. She was a trooper through her recovery, though, and is now more than ready for a family of her own!

Kiara is a torbie and a bit of an older kitten on the small side, but with still lots of kitten fun! She is affectionate and enjoys playing with and hanging out with her foster. Kiara loves to chase the wand feather toy but can also entertain herself with small soft toys. She can be a bit of a talker when she
wants attention and can settle in on or near her foster when playtime is over.

Our application is available on our website or at our adoption fairs. We do deliveries of our cats to their new homes to help ensure a successful transition.

We hold adoption fairs at Petsmart Campbell (CA) almost every Saturday, noon to 4pm; as well as at Petsmart Coleman (San Jose, CA) on one weekend a month.

More about this rescue

13th Street Cats is an all volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of feral and social cats and reducing the population by TNR – Trap, Neuter, Return in Santa Clara County. Kittens and cats that can be socialized are taken into foster care while waiting adoption. With a no kill philosophy, 13th St Cats is pleased to be able to rescue these homeless animals who might otherwise end up in a local kill shelter, helping to reduce euthanasia rates.
