Meet our sweet girl Summer! She is an absolute joy! You would never know it, but Summer has had a rough start in life. Her first family let her down and abandoned her at a shelter. Then that shelter was shut down due to charges of abuse and neglect. Thankfully One Love Animal Rescue stepped in and brought her to safety and to a loving foster home.
Summer is a delight! This petite pup is playful but gentle. She loves kids and other dogs! Summer is great on her leash. She loves car rides and games of tag. But most of all, Summer loves being close to her favorite people. When she’s getting affection, she looks deep in your eyes and melts as her little tail wags, wags, wags. Summer is a little love muffin Velcro baby and she can’t wait to find her forever family.
A perfect home for Summer would have no cats or other small animals as she has a strong prey drive. It should also have a wooden fence (preferably 6ft high) as this little butterfly can just about fly over a 4ft chain link. But most importantly, a perfect home for Summer would have a family that is committed to loving her forever and giving her all the snuggles her precious heart desires.

The mission of One Love Animal Rescue, Inc. is to help abandoned, neglected, abused and unwanted pets by partnering with shelters, rescue groups and the community to facilitate adoption of these animals into permanent and loving homes.
Our goal is to save one life at a time by promoting local animal shelter adoptions and raising awareness in our community about responsible pet ownership. We strive to highlight the importance of spaying or neutering pets which will aid in the reduction of overpopulation. We believe that appropriate and positive reinforcement training and socialization of these shelter animals will lead to well-adjusted family pets, thereby decreasing the number of abandoned animals in shelters. Our dream is that one day all the shelters will be empty because every pet will have a home.
