Critter Cavalry Rescue is very pleased to offer a stunning Border collie mix boy named Gunner to families that are looking for an active, intelligent, hurting breed puppy to raise. Gunner is approximately 18 weeks old and weighs 24 lb. He was briefly owned by a family who honestly could not find the time to work with him during these formative months that need true hands on training. Let's just say they chose the wrong breed of dog for their own personal energy level as a family. The mom was overwhelmed so off he went to a local Humane society. This boy was made to be challenged mentally and physically as he grows into a stunning, active, adult dog. He is a friend to all and has a happy demeanor. He is going to be 45 to 50 lb as an adult and he will be a dog that is not for someone wanting a total couch potato. He has a chill button like most dogs do and he has the active button as the Border Collie breed is known to have. He could be a wonderful family companion if you are willing to be his leader. We suggest a fenced in yard, perhaps children that are 8 years and above that can also help keep him trained and challenged. He is healthy both emotionally and physically. We are looking for a good match and an experienced dog owner. Hurting breed experience is very welcomed. If you are interested in Gunner please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Please tell us where you live, city and state. We transport from Tennessee to the Northeast region and we adopt there as well as in local Tennessee counties.
Gunner is a 17 week old border Collie who weighs 24 lbs. Gunner loves his toys and learning basic commands. Gunner was surrendered because he was to much for the sons mothers. ( he is in foster so waiting for some more pictures)
PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive. Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
