Hi, I`m Twix! I`m young, energetic, and always up for a laugh. Life`s an adventure, and I`m always ready to explore. One day, while chasing a rainbow, I accidentally hopped through a magical portal and ended up here at the shelter. It was a surprise, but I`ve taken it in stride. I`m friendly, sweet, and I love making new friends. I`m brave, too. I`ve never met a vacuum cleaner I couldn`t face down. I`m independent, but I also love a good cuddle. I`m a bit goofy, but that`s part of my charm. If you`re looking for a curious, fun-loving companion, then I`m the cat for you!

Their adoption process

Interview

Call and tell us what animal you're interested in and we discuss all aspects of the pet. If it's not a match, we can help you find one

2.
Submit Application

We will set up an appointment time for you to meet the pet and collect a Companion Request Form from you.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

At your appointment we will give you an opportunity to meet the pet and make a final decision. If all goes well, you will take the pet home.

The mission of the Placer Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Placer SPCA) is to enhance the lives of companion animals and support the human-animal bond.

We offer programs for the pets and people of Placer County, including adoptions, lost and found, low-cost spay and neuter assistance, humane education programs, emergency financial assistance for pet owners, free behavior advice, and low-cost microchips and rabies vaccines.
