GRIZZLY! 120 pounds, 2 1/2 years old, house trained, no young children
GRIZZLY is one of those XL boys who doesn't quite know how big or strong he is. He was surrendered when it was discovered he was not a good fit for the young child in the home. *He has some resource guarding tendencies with food and he didn't enjoy the antics of the young human in the home.
He is friendly when he knows you although it might take a hot minute for him to get to know you. (Please remember this when it comes to introducing him to your friends who are strangers to him!) Slow, proper introductions are a great way to give him time to get used to the people who are new to him.
Grizzly is a player and loves to play with balls and squishy toys.
He can be trusted to roam free in the house when he is left alone.
He enjoys car rides and going places with his family.
I did learn he will chase squirrels and other critters...and he will pull you through bushes, brush, trees, anything really if given the opportunity. LOL Yes, I learned the hard way but all you have to do is have a really good grip on the leash and make sure you can control 120 solid pounds of dog. If not, get someone who can to hold the leash. LOL
If you are interested in meeting this handsome large boy, come to VBACAC and ask to meet him! He is currently in a back kennel so if you don't see him, definitely ask!
