Meet Lucy, a beautiful all-black pit bull with a heart of gold! At first, she may seem shy and scared, but once she gets to know you, she becomes the sweetest companion. Lucy has formed special bonds with two staff members at the shelter, who adore her, but sadly, they can't take her home.
This goofy girl loves to climb into your lap and snuggle up and has already learned many tricks, thanks to her treat motivation. Though her past is a mystery, it’s clear she’s faced challenges that have left her lacking confidence. When Lucy first arrived, she was terrified and hesitant to approach anyone. Thankfully, she’s gradually coming out of her shell and starting to trust again.
Lucy needs a loving home where she can gain the confidence she deserves, away from the hustle and bustle of shelter life. A calm and stable environment is essential for her to thrive. Due to her timid nature, she’d do best in a home without small children. With a little patience and love, she’ll show you how affectionate and loyal she can be. If you’re ready to be her forever friend, Lucy is waiting for you!
