Meet Mr. Snuggle bug – Alfie! This handsome boy, with the most beautiful eyes is a fun loving purebred German Shorthaired Pointer who is just the sweetest boy you ever want to meet! He is great with kids and LOVES to cuddle and snuggle with his humans! His favorite thing is to snuggle under a blanket and nap with you! He has so much love to offer and LOVES to snuggle! Alfie is kennel trained, potty trained and currently working on leash training and recall training. Alfie is very smart and already knows sit, stay, kennel up, hush and down. He learns quickly and loves to keep his “people” happy.

He will need a fenced yard and a preferably an active family (better with older kids since he is still learning) German Pointers are known to be high energy and CAN jump fences (although we have not had any issues with Alfie escaping our yard) he likes to be included in all family outings and prefers to be with his people over being alone. He likes to chew on things, play fetch and play hide and seek (yes he will actually find the things you hide!)

Alfie loves playing with other dogs and would do best with having a dog friend to wrestle around and play tug of war with. He would be perfect for an active family who enjoys going for walks, hiking and other outdoor adventures. He definitely need a lot of mental stimulation and exercise to keep this active boy happy.
