Meet Spot, a 2-year-old, 57.7-pound APBT mix with a heart full of love! Though she was initially a bit nervous, Spot has blossomed into the sweetest, most laid-back cuddle bug. Her favorite thing is to be close to her people-if you let her, she'll happily climb right into your lap for some serious snuggle time! Spot also enjoys exploring outside and soaking up the sunshine. She's calm around the other dogs here and doesn't seem to be phased by much. If you're looking for a loving companion, Spot is ready to be your sunshine buddy!

We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment ONLY. If you are interested in adopting, please contact us via email at jcas@co.johnson.in.us or call 317-738-6090 during regular business hours. We will happily help get an application to you. Once an application is submitted and approved, we can contact you to set an appointment to meet the pet!

Our adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs, $75 for kittens under 6 months of age and $50 for all cats 6 months and older. This will include a rabies vaccination (if age appropriate), spay or neuter, a microchip with registration, and all other age appropriate vaccinations.

More about this shelter

We are the all admittance shelter in Johnson County, we are not a 501c3, but a county run facility. We try our best to place each and every animal. We also house all animals picked up by Animal Control therefore; we intake a high volume of animals each year.
