My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I'm Nellie. A gentle soul who loves to relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. I'm a friendly girl, always ready with a wagging tail and a soft nuzzle. I'm sweet and mellow, preferring the company of lower energy dogs who share my laid-back lifestyle. I'm known for my gentleness, making me a great companion for those seeking a calm, loving pet. I believe in living life at a leisurely pace, enjoying every moment. If you're looking for a companion who will bring peace, love, and a gentle spirit to your home, I'm the dog for you.

Nellie has been added to the urgent list due to her selectivity with other dogs. She gets along best with other laid back/lower energy dogs and will dominantly and respectfully correct other medium to higher energy dogs. She is also displaying some signs of skin issues due to her breed/mix. She has such a sweet personality and we are hoping this laid back prior mama will find the home she needs.
