My name is Teddy!

Teddy is great. My allergies aside I would absolutely take him if I could. He was my dad's cat, we adopted him maybe a year or 2 ago. He's very affectionate, very energetic and athletic, and well behaved. He does like to scratch, but as long as he has a scratching post he won't tear up any furniture or belongings. He's great with my 5-year-old nephew and has had a playdate with only one other cat before. In this interaction, Teddy was quite friendly, but the other cat seemed very averse to other cats.

Teddy was my dad's cat who passed away a couple months ago. Since then Teddy has been in the house alone and I check on him 2-3 times a week to monitor his food, water, and litter box as well as spend as much time playing with him as my allergies and a Zyrtec will allow. I think the absolute world of Teddy and know he deserves more than a few visits each week. He deserves and should have someone who can love him full time and unfortunately that's just not something I can do.
